The bridge is the center of the ship, where the crew controls the ship and gives orders to other parts of the ship. It has a variety of equipment, including the steering equipment, radar, and TVs for surveillance.
Speaking Tube
These tubes were built into ships in the age before telephones, in order to communicate with people in other rooms. There is a holdover from this age in the Fuji as well, but these speaking tubes were apparently a backup for telephones, and not used very often.

Control Lever
This lever controls the speed of the engine. Unlike typical ships, the Fuji frequently goes back and forth to charge through icy seas. On top, navigation speed is classified in detailed, as displayed in ""Speed Classification: Start/Stop & Accelerate/Decelerate Classification"".

Outboard Commands
Commands sent outboard are made when the Fuji charges. An officer issues a command, and the crew repeats it when they control the vessel. You can hear such commands as ""Now entering icy waters"", ""Adjust 5 degrees"", ""Keep her steady"", ""Both sides full speed forward"", ""Both sides stop"", ""Both sides half speed reverse"", ""Accelerate to charging speed"".

CIC Room (Combat Information Center)
This is the ship's information center, where all the various electronic equipment and maritime equipment was installed, and it served the purpose of assisting safe operation of the ship and its helicopter.
